The important thing is not being afraid to take a chance. Remember, the greatest failure is to not try. Once you find something you love to do, be the best at doing it.
When Market Prices Are High? Before Real Estate Values Go Down?
Remember we are a Mortgage Broker right?
I’m supposed to tell you to buy and refinance never to sell right? Or only to sell if you are going to buy and of course finance something else.
I’ve been asked this question quite a bit recently, It’s early 2022 as I write this page.
If it were me I would not be buying any real estate for investment purposes right now in this market unless it were 25 cents on the dollar, for real. Put the Real Estate Book down and lets talk it out.
If we were talking about buying a house to live in that’s quite different. But we are not at least not at the moment.
I would be selling every house I owned right now and putting the money into real estate notes or some other more stable investment.
I am in fact investing or micro investing in 100’s of mortgage notes right now, have been for a while now. The average return has been just over 10% over the past 5 years.
Some of my friends are selling right now and buying silver to hedge against inflation.
It’s tempting to hang on to those rental homes – rents are sky high right now and still going up with no real end in sight for the Tampa Bay Area.
I just think at some point the only way the real estate values can go is down from where we are at now. So if you can get 3X, 4X or whatever in cash that’s the way to go.
Then when prices eventually do go back to reality it’s time to buy rental real estate again.

When will home prices fall?
I make a conscious effort to keep things in perspective when I get burned out. It is easy to get stuck in the daily grind, but if you think about all the distance you have covered, and what lies ahead, it is much easier to feel motivated and optimistic.
